Alliance Advocate Application Process

Applications are invited for the next Alliance Advocate training program, which will be held in Delhi, India, in November 2018.

Participants are selected through a rigorous competitive application process. Selected participants must be self-starters who possess and demonstrate experience, dedication, and willingness to make a change. All selected participants will be called upon to share their expertise with fellow Alliance members. Through individualized mentoring and training, their skills will be nurtured and their expertise will grow as they advocate on risk areas and support other Alliance members to advance their work. Alliance Advocates will be a key investment for the Alliance over the years to come, and the Alliance will expect a significant return on investment from this core group in terms of their own growth and their promotion of global agendas.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Alliance Advocate training, applicants must be:

  • Part of an Alliance member organization 
  • In a position of leadership/decision making within their organization
  • Alliance Advocate training will be in English. Applicants must have sufficient proficiency in English to be able to participate fully. 
  • Able to travel to Delhi, India, between 26-30 November 2018

Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview, which will be held via Skype. Successful applicants will be notified and will complete a pre-training assignment prior to the training in November.

NOTE: Please note that while subsidies toward travel, accommodation, and food will be available, successful applicants should expect to meet some costs themselves.
