Global Road Safety Partnership Road Safety Grants Programme Now Open

Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP) has announced the launch of the Round 13 Call for Proposals under the Road Safety Grants Programme. Since 2012, the Road Safety Grants Programme has supported organizations advocating for the adoption and implementation of evidence-based policies to protect road users. In Round 13, GRSP is calling for proposals for advocacy to strengthen road user policies in selected countries.

Safer Road Users—Round 13: Eligible Countries and Cities 
Applications addressing national-level road user policy reform and/or its implementation will be accepted from China, India, the Philippines, Tanzania, and Thailand.

addressing city-level implementation of one or more behavioral risk factors, seeking to reduce city speed limits, or strengthening city legislation related to one or more behavioral risk factors will be accepted from eligible applicant organizations proposing to implement projects in Bangkok, Fortaleza, Mumbai, and Shanghai. Applications from other Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety priority cities will not be accepted in Round 13.

How to Apply—Online Application
Details of how to apply are available in the Call for Proposals now available on GRSP’s website. Organizations from eligible cities and countries can submit a concept note using the Flexi-Grant online system.

The deadline for submission of completed concept notes is Tuesday 6 February 2018 at 14:00 hours, Central European Time. Notice of the outcome of the selection process will be sent to applicants by Tuesday 6 March 2018. Selected applicants will then be invited to submit full applications for funding.
