The Let’s Get Minimum Three-Star Roads by 2020 webinars are a part of the Alliance Empowerment Program and are designed to help NGOs that may still be unsure of how they can contribute meaningfully to reduce fatalities on our roads. The webinars focus on how NGOs can apply the star-rating concept, an aim by the Three Star Coalition to ensure that roads in developing countries meet a minimum safety standard of three stars. The six webinars were based off of a needs assessment that informed the learning strategy and concepts that are covered.
All webinars are in English. Please find a guide to how to activate Google translation and get subtitles in any language HERE.

What are steps all NGOs can take to get media attention, and why is this important?
We can’t improve the star ratings of roads alone. If we combine efforts, we end up with a much stronger movement than we would have without each other. In this webinar, we explore how to identify partners, build partnerships, and learn from our members how they found collaborators and built a momentum for change.
Hear from our members how they approached the World Bank, how they prepared, and their lessons learned.
