One in three road crashes happens when people are driving for work purposes. Therefore, reducing the risk of commercial vehicles and public transport in this way could play a significant role in cutting road fatalities globally and achieving the targets of the UN Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020.
In this webinar, Alliance member EASST present the case for work-based road safety programs and ACM, Moldova present their fleet-management training program that has seen an 85% reduction in fatalities and 53% reduction in injuries on public transport over a three-year period.
