Around the world, Alliance members are pushing for implementation of evidence-based measures in the Global Plan for the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030.
To mark the launch of the Global Plan, NGOs have been arranging ceremonial handovers to get the plan directly into the hands of the decision makers who are responsible for implementing it.
Handing over the Global Plan is only the start of a journey. The Global Plan is the blueprint for governments to achieve the 2030 goals and it is a key tool for NGOs to advocate for the evidence-based actions that will reduce road deaths and serious injuries. After the handovers, NGOs will continue to follow up to hold their governments accountable for putting the plan into action.
See below where Alliance member NGOs are handing over the plan and watch our video from the handovers.
