Mobility Snapshot visibility week

Monday 28 October – Friday 1 November

Join us to shine a light on the realities of people’s daily journeys using the Mobility Snapshots.

From Monday 28 October to Friday 1 November, we will hold a social media visibility week. We encourage you to take part by sharing your Mobility Snapshots and other photos or clips of your local streets on social media, tagging us and using the hashtags #CommittoAct and #MakeitSafe.

During the week, we will launch the Mobility Snapshot map, showing the Mobility Snapshots collected during the #CommittoAct campaign in May 2024. We will also highlight the Mobility Snapshots during our third annual online event, On track or off target? which marks the anniversary of the Global Plan. Here’s what’s happening during the week:

Monday 28 October 14:00: Twitterstorm

Join the Twitterstorm by uploading an image of your Mobility Snapshot intersection and telling us the number of people that use it during peak hour.

  1. Upload a photo of your Mobility Snapshot or use the ‘people walk here’ infographic.
  2. Don’t have a Mobility Snapshot? No problem; show your support by posting with one of our social media banners.
  3. Prepare your social media post for X.
  4. Post on X at 14:00 on Monday 28 October.
  5. Tag @roadsafetyngos and use the hashtags #CommittoAct and #MakeitSafe
  6. Like and share others Mobility Snapshot posts

Monday 28 October to Friday 1 November: share your streets
