The Alliance is excited to welcome a new member organization that joined us in December:
Fundación IRM (Inclusion, Resiliency, and Mobility), Colombia, was founded in 2014. It has been working to develop and strengthen the performance of first responders in Colombia in post-crash care and others issues related to the fifth pillar of the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011–2020. To achieve this, Fundación IRM has been working in partnership with local authorities, including the Disaster Risk Management Office and the Mobility and Transport Secretary, community groups and NGOs, and private companies, among others. Alongside this, Fundación IRM is developing strategic actions to work in education and prevention, as a principle for helping to reach both the 2020 SDG goals and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
