The Alliance is delighted to welcome another new member that joined us this month.
The Road Safe Zimbabwe Trust is a road safety advocacy and education NGO based in Zimbabwe. The majority of road users in Zimbabwe are public transport users and pedestrians. The lack of a functional public transport system creates dangers for road users. Therefore, most of the NGO’s work lies in advocacy for better enforcement and road safety priority, education for pedestrians, and campaigns for general road safety awareness. It played a huge role in educating the Ministry on the need to push the first Decade of Action for Road Safety and is working to push the agenda into the next Decade.
