Its mission is to professionalize the sector by shaping public policies on road safety and providing ongoing training. The association collaborates with authorities to develop road safety education and training programs for the public, serves as a technical advisor on driver training, and promotes members’ interests in mobility-related policies.
UCB – União de Ciclistas do Brasil, Brazil advocates for cyclists’ rights in Brazil, promoting policies that ensure safe, accessible, and equitable transportation. Focused on advancing cycling as a sustainable mobility option, UCB aims to transform urban spaces, reduce traffic injuries, and foster healthier, inclusive cities. The organization supports this mission through research, technical data collection, and events organized by its six Working Groups and five Regional Councils, actively engaging in discussions on bicycles and urban mobility.
Youth for Public Transport (Y4PT), Belgium is a global, youth-led nonprofit established by the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) in 2005, with support from Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority. Y4PT mobilizes young people worldwide to advocate for sustainable, integrated public transportation, aiming to improve quality of life and environmental outcomes. Acting as a hub for youth engagement, Y4PT provides a platform for education, employment, and participation in mobility issues, representing young voices and promoting sustainable transport solutions.
