Safe Kids Safety Pre-Conference

Safe Kids Worldwide together with the International Society for Child and Adolescent Injury Prevention and the Child Injury Prevention Alliance are organizing a pre-conference in advance of Safety 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand on Sunday 4 November 2018. The event is titled “Child Injury Prevention and the Sustainable Development Goals” and features Saul Billingsley, FIA Foundation, Mirjam Sidik, AIP Foundation, and Monica Cui, Safe Kids China, as well as specialists from other child injury fields.

This pre-conference will look at:

• identifying how child injury prevention can align with the SDGs,
• sharing new developments to strengthen current programs and advocacy,
• providing an opportunity to network with global child injury prevention stakeholders and
• challenging participants to explore how they can utilize what they learn to strengthen child injury prevention efforts in their own communities.
