Welcome to the Accountability Toolkit

The Alliance Accountability Toolkit is a set of practical tools that empowers NGOs to hold their governments accountable for the safety of all road users. Build your own custom Accountability Kit using our interactive tools.

Using the Accountability Toolkit, you will play your part in reducing road deaths and injuries, contributing to SDG 3.6 and the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021–2030. You will also help make our world safer, cleaner, more livable, more equitable, and more sustainable.

The Accountability Toolkit has been created by the Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety (the Alliance), the leading civil society voice for road safety, representing, equipping, and mobilizing more than 300 NGOs in 100 countries around the world. The Toolkit has been designed for NGOs advocating for road safety, based on international best practice, in consultation with Alliance member NGOs and backed by an expert panel.
